The Christianson Tutorials Team

John Christianson
Executive Director
The founder of the company, John Christianson, became interested in the SAT after taking the PSAT as a sophomore in high school. Motivated by his low scores, John studied diligently for the SAT, raising his score by nearly 400 points. After graduating from Swarthmore College, John began tutoring the SAT on a one-on-one basis in the Philadelphia area. Since 1989, he has helped thousands of students raise their ACT and SAT scores.
John works to successfully guide students and parents through the admissions and financial aid process. He focuses on ensuring that students are able to attend and graduate college with minimal debt, by maximizing their financial aid options and choosing colleges that support their academic strengths and financial goals.
John has completed college planning courses at UCLA and is an associate member of The Independent Educational Consultants Association and a member of The National College Advocacy Group.
