Frequently Asked Questions
How are your tutors different from the competition?
Quite simply, our tutors receive superior training. As a smaller tutoring company, we are flexible enough to continually update and change our materials. We don’t wait two years to change our materials. If the SAT introduces a new type of math problem, then we inform our tutors of the recent changes. Our commitment to continuing research and improvement ensures that our tutors teach high school students relevant information.
What is your refund policy?
If after the first session, you feel that the tutor is not a good “match” for your son or daughter, we will refund the balance of the tuition. For example, if you have purchased 8 tutoring session, you would receive a refund for 7 sessions, minus the cost of books and materials. However, we don’t provide refunds for students who have met with the tutor for more than one session.
Can I call the director and/or the tutor between sessions?
Yes. We welcome feedback and questions from our parents and students. Christianson Tutorials feels that parents are an important part of the tutoring process. Parents often make sure that their children do their homework and can even participate with them on some homework exercises. Students often call us with questions about their homework.
Can I meet a representative of your company before I make a decision?
Yes. We make in-home presentations of our tutoring sessions with no obligation. This allows you to understand our approach and to make sure that we are a good match for your son or daughter.
